A: The web site migration service provided by Unilakes Cloud is totally free of charge and involves transferring all your website files, databases and emails from your current web hosting provider to your new hosting account with us. We will also modify all the settings needed for your web sites to be completely functional on our ultra–modern cloud hosting platform.Our technicians are fully capable of transferring any sort of web site. With years of practical experience behind their backs, they’re experts in the specificities of our web hosting platform, our Control Panel and all other widely used Control Panels. For them, moving a custom application with plenty of custom libraries is as easy as transferring a simple WordPress weblog.

A: While we cannot give you a precise ETA, since there are plenty of variables, including the physical size of the web files and databases, the location of the current host’s server, the complexity of your website and the present workload of our Website Migration Department, etc., we will do our very best to transfer your website within 48 hours, and in certain cases – within 24 hours (if the content is not large).

A: We’ll need the login information for your old hosting provider’s Control Panel and the web site’s name (domain name).

A: In order for us to start the transfer of your account, you must first open an account with us. Opening an account with us requires that you to share virtually the same details you have given to your previous web host. We also have an extremely strict Privacy Policy, which describes how sensitive data is used.

A: No. Your web site will remain online during the transfer. As soon as everything is done on our end, we will tell you so that you can examine it and check for problems. If everything is okay, all you will need to do is modify your domain name’s DNS resource records.

A: Nah. Apart from your login credentials for the Control Panel, we won’t require anything. We’ll never get in touch with your web hosting provider. They will not know anything about the migration either.

A: Yup. We support all common Linux–powered web hosting platforms. We don’t support Windows–based hosting platforms, as we don’t provide Windows hosting services ourselves.Additionally, we do not support proprietary site creation and management user interfaces like Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square, Mr Site, etc.
